Ensure you have somewhere to easily publish, work with, and update your data. Infrastructure is the starting point: use the community to get your hummus.

# II. 🚰 Water well

There's a lot of technique to helping your datasets blossom, ensuring their sustained improvement. Not too little, not too much, focusing your resources where they are needed.

# III. 🐛 Pests out

Keep a tidy portal, clean your data, have a culling strategy. 'Wild', out of date, unsupported datasets and buggy/compromised data may bump your stats, but they stifle the visibility and use up resources needed for truly valuable content.

# IV. 🌞 Plenty of sun
